Next you need to go download the software development kits that both Apple and Google offer online. Both SDKs include an integrated developer environment, IDE, to write your code in. Apple’s SDK comes with Xcode, and Google’s comes with Eclipse. Now it’s time to right your code. There are extensive examples of projects to use as reference both from Apple and Google themselves as well as 3rd parties. It’s also worth noting both Google and Apple have documentation on how to use things such as the Accelerometer or GPS if say for your health app you are trying to incorporate say how fast you are walking or where in the world you are located.

Then once you have your health app completed it’s time to test. Always test before you go live with your app as much as possible as 1st impressions on the App Store and Play Store are crucial to getting high ratings and good buzz. Try out all of your crazy scenarios. Double check to see if your UI matches up with the iOS and Android user interface guidelines. Share it with your friends and family to see if they encounter any issues that you might have missed.

Then once your read with your Health App it’s time to publish. You have to pay a small fee to become an official app developer. It’s also worth noting the Android SDK works on Windows, OSX, and Linux where as the iOS SDK only works on OSX. Once your published you can work on getting the word out about your new health app, pushing bug fixes, and staying up on all of the latest health trends with your app!

Hygiene is a very important of your health and social interactions. It is very easy develop habits whether it’s negative or positive. However, you can always start slow and build up a healthier lifestyle for yourself and others.

Showering twice a day

Germ build up is very easy especially after a long day of sweating at work and even while you sleep. It’s important to take a shower first thing in the morning. Not only does it help for you to get clean and start your day fresh, but it’s a great wake up. You’ll feel a bit relaxed before you go in and you’ll be a bit more presentable at work. It’s smart to put on some fresh deodorant and aftershave for a clean finish. Foul body odor is something you don’t want in the work place. Make sure you floss regularly as well to get excess food between your teeth as well as promote healthier gums. Also, it’s a good idea to carry some floss around work as well as mints/gum to keep your breath fresh throughout the day when you speak to people. Bad breath is very offensive.

By increasing your hygiene, you’ll not only become cleaner and healthier, but you will have better social interaction.

With the rush and excitement of the diet industry, people all around the world are asking their doctors, friends, and family members about what supplements they can add to their diet that may help them increase their weight loss without harming their health. If you search the internet you will find sources that will suggest many different supplements a person can take that may help you lose extra weight when dieting. There are several well-known vitamins on the market that are safe to use and may help you with shedding some of those unwanted pounds. Some supplements that have been known to aid in weight loss are: daily doses of calcium, green tea extract, coffee bean extract, raspberry ketones, Vitamin B12, omega 3/fish oil and Vitamin D. If you are looking for the best vitamins, click here.

Calcium is something everyone’s body needs to promote healthy bones but calcium also may play a key role in helping the body to break down and store fat, which helps the body lose weight. Some studies have shown that increasing calcium intake will increase weight loss. So adding extra calcium tablets or eating calcium rich foods may help you shed more pounds.

Two other helpful supplements that aid in weight loss are green tea extract and coffee bean extract. Both of these naturally occurring supplements give you extra energy which helps your body adjust to how it uses your resting energy and increase how it uses your stored energy. Both are safe to take in moderation, can help you add energy to your daily routine and add extra weight loss to your diet plan.

One of the hottest items being talked about today in the diet industry are raspberry ketones. The compound from red raspberries, adiponectin, is a protein the body uses to regulate metabolism. This protein helps your body to break up the fat within your cells faster which helps you lose weight more rapidly as well.

Some other useful vitamins that have been recommended as supplements for additional weight loss are Vitamin B-12 omega 3 or fish oil and Vitamin D. All of which are beneficial in helping your body function.

Although all of the previously mentioned supplements have their own benefits to your body and all of them may help you lose additional unwanted pounds, it is best to talk with your doctor or medical provider before starting any diet on your own to discuss potential health risks.

Healthy living is a common goal for most people, though discovering the keys to a healthy lifestyle can be a bit more difficult. Each person is unique, so a health plan must be tailored to fit those unique needs. There are certain common factors, however, that can help determine good health plans and the likelihood that they will be successful.

Good health requires the attention of multiple factors, including diet, exercise, stress management, and illness or injury prevention and care. Perhaps the biggest factor of these is healthy meal planning. The right combination of foods, and in the appropriate portions, can jump-start the metabolism, cleanse the body of waste and toxins that slow it down, and provide consistent, long term energy and nourishment. With commitment and dedication, this can be achieved, and done on a budget.

The trick is to always stay on track. One of the biggest obstacles to a healthy diet is the lack of planning. People who don’t take time to plan meals, carry prepared snacks, or set aside a specific time to eat tend to act impulsively when in comes to satiating that hunger. For example, a person who runs out of the house to work without eating breakfast is more likely to grab a pastry or fast food item on the way, or wait until lunch time when the hunger is so out of control that he or she binges on a huge meal. Try waking up 10-30 minutes earlier to provide adequate time for breakfast. When choosing a breakfast, go for something that is filling but not laden with excess calories or sugar. Oatmeal (which contains protein, iron, and fiber) topped with fruit is a good option. Avoid skipping meals at any time. In fact, research shows that eating 4 to 6 small meals throughout the day is a good way to stay full and promote a stable metabolism.

Fried foods, sugary sweets, and simple carbs all contain excess calories that add stress to the organs and will only concert to fat over time. But cutting calories is not enough. Fresh fruits and vegetables are an essential part of a healthy diet. Water, fiber, and multi grains also help keep the body clean from the inside out. Healthy snacks such as carrot sticks, trail mix, and yogurt are great to have handy.

Incorporating healthy foods into regular meals will help lead to dieting success.

If you are considering starting an online business, one option is to create a health-based website that deals with a specific area of the health field. This may be an area in which you have some training or experience, or simply one that interests you. This area of the overall health industry can be considered your niche. The following is a discussion of some of the initial considerations for creating your own niche health website:

Custom or Turn Key Website?

One initial decision to make is whether you would like to design a website from scratch or use a service that offers ready-made websites. The simplest, least expensive, and quickest way to get started is to use a ready-made website service that allows you to quickly open up a reasonably good looking web page, and then begin putting content on it dealing with your health specialty. You may wish to hire a web designer to put together a sophisticated website, and then upload it to a web host. A “middle ground” type of approach is to use a service provider that offers customized web design along with a hosting package. The choice you make between these alternatives will depend largely on the time you have available and your budget.

Market Research

If you want to give your site the best possible chance of being successful, you should do at least some market research before deciding on a particular niche around which to design a web page. There are many services that offer sophisticated analytics regarding site traffic, profits, search statistics, and other market factors that affect the success of various internet businesses. You can use these services to get a sense of which internet niches might be the most successful. Hopefully, some of these niches will correspond with areas of health in which you have experience or are interested.

Information or Vending Sites?

You also need to decide whether your site will be primarily based on vending or providing information. Do you want to start a blog dealing with holistic health and herbal medicine? Would you like to sell supplements? Do you wish to provide a forum for discussion on physical fitness? You may want instead to provide a platform for networking between consumers and various health services. Designing a website that actually sells products or services is often more involved than creating a site that only provides information. Making a decision on this level is an important step in clarifying your goals for the site and the corresponding time commitment that is necessary.

These are a few of the beginning considerations that will point you in the right direction as you design your own niche health website. The clearer and better informed you are at the outset, the more time and effort you can potentially save as you do the work of actually creating the site. Doing thorough initial research and creative planning also gives your site the best chance of monetary and popular success.

The label on your pet’s food is not exactly the most entertaining literature, but it can make all the difference in your pet’s life.

Put on your glasses, if necessary – and it probably will be if you’re beyond your teens – to read that list of ingredients that is written in microscopic type. Many manufacturers hope you will never go beyond the picture of the handsome dog or beautiful cat on the front of the can, but for your pet’s sake, you must.

The top ingredient in the list is the item that there is the most of. Yes, in some cases it is going to be water. But keep reading. After all, if you were making your pet’s food on your kitchen stove, you would probably put in some water so that the mixture would cook, right?

As to the rest of the list, you have some help. In the USA, pet food is required to meet certain standards on a federal and state-by-state basis. They get their minimum requirements from the Association of American Feed Control Officials, known to its friends as AAFCO. So the AAFCO is some help in requiring manufacturers to assure you that the pet food at least meets minimum requirements. But on its website, the AAFCO warns that “It is not rare at all that labeling and marketing information is designed to appeal to the latest trend in marketing human products.” Which means, there are some manufacturers who will try to convince you their product is more wonderful than it actually is.

For example, when you look at the “guaranteed analysis” list, you may see the letters BHA or BHT. This is chemical shorthand for something you don’t want your pet to eat – chemicals to make the food look or smell better to you but totally lacking in nutritional value.

Compare the labels on different brands of your pet’s food, and you will see that the cheapest food is very often not the best bargain, and not the best meal you can offer your pet friend.
